Reprise is the major project I completed as part of the Graduate Diploma of Animation and Interactive Media at RMIT. I’m fascinated by our struggle with fear and anger, and the ways in which we experience and manage conflict. I used a mixture of stunt-choreographed live action and digital 2D animation to create a short film about a simple moment of conflict between two boys. The film talks to our split second assessment of flight / flight scenarios, resolving in a way that aims to address the precarious balance underpinning human interaction.
